Crypto exchange research — security, fees and choosing a platform

Crypto Exchange Research

Independent research on exchange security, fees, liquidity and usage limits — so you can see what each platform is really like.

Choosing an exchange is not about "who is most famous." What actually matters is four things: security (are user funds backed by reserves), fees (the maker vs taker gap), liquidity (will your orders get stuck), and usage limits (can you use it in your region, and how high is the KYC bar).

This is CoinTrailHub's exchange research hub: Binance is our primary focus, and Bitget has an independent review. Each platform has its own review article that explains whether you should use it and how.

Products, fees, reserves and regional limits may change with the rules. Review conclusions are as of the verification date noted in each article; always check the official page after logging in.

Remember this before you start

Use only the official app and website. Don't click unverified links, don't download third-party "accelerated" or "cracked" apps, and don't trust DMs offering to "fix your referral code." Anyone asking you to transfer privately or pay a "release fee" or "deposit" is scamming you.

FAQ

How do I tell if an exchange is trustworthy?

Look at four things: security (user-asset reserves and any compensation record), fees (real maker and taker rates), liquidity (spread and depth on major coins), and usage limits (can you register in your region, and how high are the KYC and deposit/withdrawal bars). Every review on this page goes through these four dimensions.

Why focus on Binance over other platforms?

Binance is, by public data, one of the largest exchanges by volume and users, and it is the platform Chinese-speaking users encounter most. That is why CoinTrailHub treats it as the main focus and has invested in first-hand test data (fees, referral rebates, downloads, KYC). Other platforms will get their own independent reviews over time.

What is Bitget? Is it safe?

Bitget is an exchange known for futures and copy trading, with many Chinese-speaking users. Its specific security model, fees, products and usage limits are covered in the Bitget review — don't judge by name recognition alone.

What is the difference between a review and a tutorial?

A review answers "is this platform trustworthy and right for you"; a tutorial answers "how do I register, buy and withdraw." This page is the review hub; for step-by-step operations see the Binance guide.
